Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction- a Meditation based workshop. Sept. 24th 2017

MBSR- Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, a 9 week class will be offered at Kosha Yoga.

It will be Sundays 2:45 to 5:15 pm starting Sept. 24th with an all day class on November 12th from 8am to 5pm.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a secular, scientific take on ancient techniques of meditation, that calls on the inherent wisdom of our minds and bodies to help work with stress, pain and illness. MBSR was started by John Kabat-Zinn in 1979, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and it has gone on to touch the lives of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. As Jon himself puts it, in the intro to his classic work, Full Catastrophe Living, “…I have come to see the cultivation of mindfulness as a radical act— a radical act of sanity, of self-compassion, and, ultimately, of love.”

Kosha Yoga is located at 1500 W. Littleton Blvd. Littleton, CO 80120. We are on Littleton Blvd. between Santa Fe and Broadway. We offer yoga and meditation classes to people in the Denver, Littleton, Centennial, and Highlands Ranch area.
